These terms govern your use of claritycompanionllc.com. They're written to be read, not skimmed past — and the honest summary is: use the site in good faith, understand that its content and AI tools are informational rather than professional advice, and know that actual client work happens under separate written agreements.

1. Who these terms are between

"We," "us," and "our" mean Clarity Companion LLC, an Ohio limited liability company based in Oberlin, Ohio. "You" means anyone visiting or using claritycompanionllc.com, including the services pages and the discovery intake tool at /services/discovery. By using the site, you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, the site isn't for you.

Our other platforms — remodel.guide, Remodelry, michigancannabis.guide, and the rest — live on their own domains with their own terms. These terms cover this site only.

2. What this site is (and isn't)

This site describes our company, our platforms, and the services we offer to businesses. Everything on it — including package descriptions, pricing, recommendations, guides, and prompts — is informational. It is not legal, financial, tax, insurance, medical, or contracting advice, and it doesn't replace the judgment of a licensed professional in any of those fields.

Prices and package details shown on the site are starting points, not binding offers. They may change, and the actual scope and price of any engagement are set in writing between us before work begins.

3. AI features

Parts of this site use artificial intelligence — most notably C.C., the discovery companion at /services/discovery. A few things to understand before using them:

• C.C. is an AI, and it says so. Its replies are generated by a language model. It can misunderstand, oversimplify, or occasionally get something wrong.
• Its recommendations are starting points. Every brief and recommendation produced by the discovery tool is reviewed by a real person before anything is proposed to you. Nothing C.C. says creates an agreement, quote, or obligation on either side.
• Don't feed it what it doesn't need. Please don't submit sensitive personal information (about yourself or anyone else), confidential trade secrets, or anything you wouldn't put in an introductory email. How we handle what you do submit is covered in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

Use the site as a person genuinely interested in it. Don't:

• probe, disrupt, overload, or circumvent the site's security or rate limits;
• use bots or scripts to scrape the site or spam its forms;
• attempt to make the AI features act outside their purpose, or use them to generate harmful or unlawful content;
• submit information that is false, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

We can suspend or block access that violates these terms, and rate limits may throttle unusual traffic automatically.

5. Your submissions

When you send us information — through the contact form or the discovery tool — you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it: understanding your business, preparing your brief, and following up with you. Our Privacy Policy explains how it's handled and how to have it deleted.

6. Our content

The design, text, graphics, and code of this site belong to Clarity Companion LLC. You're welcome to read, share links to, and quote reasonably from the site. Materials we explicitly offer for use — such as the prompts in our prompt library — may be used for your own personal and business purposes; we ask only that you don't repackage or resell them as your own product.

"Clarity Companion," our companion-star mark, and our platform names are our trademarks. Please don't use them in ways that suggest affiliation or endorsement we haven't given.

7. Client engagements

Actual services work — Foundation, Storefront, Companion packages, strategy sessions, or anything else — is governed by a separate written agreement between you and us. If anything on this site conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.

8. Third-party links

The site links to other websites, including our own platforms on other domains and third-party services. We don't control third-party sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate, secure, and online, but we can't promise it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or current — and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clarity Companion LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Changes take effect when posted here, and the "last updated" date at the top will reflect them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
